Cassopolis Man Sentenced for Misusing 911; Police Say it’s a Growing Problem (22 WSBT South Bend)
(WSBT) A Cassopolis man accused of calling 911 more than a thousand times in two years was found guilty Tuesday of misusing emergency services. Dispatchers say he just called to chat. Police tell us they’re getting other phone calls from people who aren’t in trouble at all.
